Foreigner Tour 2017
The Objective:
Reintroduce Foreigner to both longtime fans and new audiences by spotlighting the band’s iconic catalog in a fresh, engaging way - bridging the gap between widespread song recognition and limited awareness of the artist behind the hits - while driving demand for the upcoming summer tour.
The Approach:
We developed a custom video asset that playfully showcased a selection of Foreigner’s chart-topping songs, designed for social-first distribution and easy fan sharing. The creative reframed the band’s legacy through a modern lens, sparking recognition, conversation, and excitement around the tour announcement.
The Results:
The video quickly went viral, becoming one of the most shared brand videos on Facebook during its launch week and surpassing 3.4 million views to date. The campaign directly supported Foreigner’s most successful tour in decades, generating over 330,000 ticket buyers across North America and demonstrating the power of catalog-driven storytelling to drive meaningful commercial results.
