2022 World Tour

The Objective:
Generate global awareness and anticipation for the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ 2022 Global Stadium Tour - the first stadium tour of the band’s career - while spotlighting the highly anticipated return of guitarist John Frusciante and setting the stage for new music.

The Approach:
We launched the campaign with an out-of-the-box, two-part custom video announcement, introducing the band as reporters for a fictional local news station, KHOT, creating immediate intrigue and shareability. The rollout expanded into a bold, city-dominating physical footprint, including a hand-painted beach mural, jumbo snipes in key markets, large-scale logo projections on stadium exteriors, and a custom Red Hot Chili Peppers wrap of the iconic Randy’s Donuts in Inglewood - strategically placed near the venue to drive local buzz and cultural conversation.

The Results:
The integrated campaign exceeded expectations, generating widespread international attention and selling out stadium dates rapidly during the first weekend of on-sale. The launch successfully ushered the band into the stadium space for the first time, reinforcing Red Hot Chili Peppers’ global relevance while delivering a high-demand, sold-out tour cycle.
